Unique and well-written!
Nice change form the usual pairings and a good canon Snape.
It took a bit for me to wrap around such a different Hermione, but then it didn't seem so out of character for her to react to events this way.

| Oh my God. This is so incredibly well written and so faithfully characterized. This would make a visually stunning short film, actually, and I would definitely stand in line for tickets to it. Are you planning on doing any pictures to compliment this beautifully understated work? This writing style is reminiscent of Edith Wharton and comes across so cleanly; I'm thrilled to see what you write next.

| I feel very affectionate toward this little fic. I'm ridiculously glad that I stumbled across it. It was excellently written. You've got a very engaging style that made me fall right into your story. The humor seemed effortless and the atmosphere was tangible. The only little quirk I noticed was your fondness for the phrase pattern "X like so many whatever of Y." You used it three or four times and I think trimming that down to twice would be great. But you're the writer, so I'll shut up now. Thanks for the fabulous read! |

| Beautiful portrayal of both characters - I wonder what could have happened to Hermione for her to sink so low, and for her to lose touch with Harry, but I can accept that such things could have happened to her.
I love your portrayal of Snape and his back-handed way of showing kindness. |
