| This story popped up as a random story and I was surprised I'd missed it, since I love your stories. And as an archaeologist, I adore the premise of this one, the adventures of a long-lived coin, passing through the generations from Godric Gryffindor to Severus Snape (who would be appalled, had he known the Galleon's earlier owner). One bothersome quibble, though, at the beginning and the end: how do you get a Galleon in change when there is no larger unit of currency??? (The story in between justified the inconsistency, though: it was excellent!) |

| what a lovely, lovely story. I remember being in film school and one of my classmates was thinking of filming a piece based on the journey of a coin. it's a fantastic story idea with a wealth of possiblities. |

| It is amazing to think of all those who have touched that ancient coin. Poor galleon, stuck in couch, view of asses and having gas passed on you. What a long 14years that would be. |

| there are muggle versions of this story in real life. Websites that you can "track" paper money by the serial code, "wheres" and then the Canadian or American "nickname of the person on the bill I believe Willie may be the CDN.
