I thought this was very nice. I'm a sucker for a happy ending. |

This was delightful, Pearle! Your Snape was as biting as ever, yet Hermione saw right through him... too many favorite lines to list, but I enjoyed it immensely. I understand what you mean about the coin, too, only for me it's places. I get goosebumps when I stand someplace where I know someone else stood hundreds of years ago. Anyway, excellent job, as always! |

This was such a wonderful piece of writing. My favorite line is after Severus tells Hermione he doesn't like her and she responds "You will". I also adore the idea that both of them say they don't need to get married, but they do. Ditto when they say they don't want to have kids, but the end up having them. I think it's very realistic for both their personalities.
Also, great idea with the whole spin of the galleon. Very creative! =) |

I really enjoyed this, though I found it a little short. Of course, that's why I typically avoid one shots, but I enjoy your writing so much that I couldn't resist. |

i like the mechanism of the coin... although he didn't have it on him for much of the action that was described. still a nice thought. i really enjoyed some of your lines; i think the most memorable were: ""Will you stop? I’m trying to propose to you!” he said, irritably" and “This is wrong. I don’t even like you.” and i like the thoughts behind "Never social, Severus nevertheless was happy to show up at the Ministry celebration, if only to annoy those present: to serve as a glaring reminder of what might have been, what could have happened, if the Light had not persevered." thanks for writing! |
