I really like the story. I’m also familiar with PTSD, ( mine was my father‘s death after taking care of him for six years) people always have advice on what you should do to get over it, and how long it should take. To each his own. Hermione is trying to fix herself the way she can. Author's Response: Thanks, I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the story! People heal from trauma in individual ways, and after everything that Hermione has seen and done, from turning into a cat to being petrified by a basilisk to being tortured by Bellatrix ... the poor girl should have a TON of trauma!

Interesting story. War leaves scars which are not always obvious. Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, a lot of the wounds of war are psychological. Muggles have the diagnosis of PTSD, but that's quite new, historically speaking. Do wizards know about it, and do they have any treatment for it? The books don't suggest any...
